Photo Within a Photo
Objective:
Just like the title says, you will be creating a 3-d project by making each photo (from the same negative) consecutively smaller and smaller and then mounting them on top of each other.
Requirements:
Two complete projects are required. For one, you will use the same negative for all five prints. For the second one you will use two different but related negatives for the five prints alternating each print.
You will need to print an 8x10, 5x7, 3x4 1/2, 2x3 and a contact sheet size.
You must read how to make a contact print on page 235 in the book The Photographic Eye. You should have five prints total. You will then mount each one starting with the largest to the smallest on top of each other.
Assembly:
*Mount all photos on the same color mat board.

You must read how to make a contact print on page 235 in the book The Photographic Eye. You should have five prints total. You will then mount each one starting with the largest to the smallest on top of each other.
Assembly:
- Dry mount each print to a piece of mat board. Do not cut off the border of each print yet, and the mat board should be a little larger so that it is easier to dry mount. Once it is mounted, carefully cut the print and mat board as one, removing the white borders of the print. Now they should be perfectly even.
*Mount all photos on the same color mat board.
- Use double sided tape to stick the 8x10 onto a piece of 12x14 black or white railroad board. Then use double sided tape to adhere each of the subsequent photos. See me for help with this part please!
