Advanced Studio Drawing
Course Description
Grades: 10, 11, 12
Credit: .5 or 1.0 depending on length of course
Length: 1st and/or 2nd Semester
Prerequisites: Art 1 and preceding studio class.
Content: Students will be allowed to repeat any previously completed higher level
course. It may be in Drawing, Computer Art, Animation, Ceramics, Sculpture,
Painting, Art Metals, Photography or Experimental Art. The student will work on
advanced art problems within the chosen medium area. A special course of study will
be developed by the instructor to meet the student’s needs in the development of the art
forms he/she has chosen. Art studio courses require students to purchase supplies for
art works they create and retain. This course option may be repeated for additional
credits. This course has a fee.
