Spell a Word
Objective:
Find letters of the alphabet within things. For example, can you see the elegant “S” within a wrought iron fence or an “O” within a bike wheel? Refer to the “Alphabet City” poster found in the front of the room for inspiration to finding all of the letters of the alphabet within common everyday items.
Requirements:
You will first need to select a word that you want to find the letters of the alphabet to. It must be a minimum of a five-letter word. If the word has a letter that is repeated the repeated letter would only count once.
Size:
Print the 3x4’s for this project. Remember, you will need to print all of your letters either horizontally or vertically.
Presentation:
Your word should be presented in one mat with an outside border of two inches and 1/2 inch in between each of the five (or more) photographs.
I will allow one created letter for your project. Example: tracing an ‘S” into the sand or snow
